Edition 2025 — Pan Fritu Festival

In 2025, the Pan Fritu Festival and Feast of Saint Bernard once again enlivened the San Bernardo d'Armo hamlet during mid-August, featuring the religious service, procession, and evening festival dedicated to re-fried stale bread. The festival reaffirmed its value as an Authentic Ligurian Event, celebrating the simple cuisine and traditions of the upper Imperia valley.

The 2025 edition of the Pan Fritu Festival - Feast of Saint Bernard renewed the ancient mid-August appointment in San Bernardo d'Armo. Between the morning religious service, the procession, and the evening festival dedicated to 'pan fritu', the community celebrated its patron saint and its gastronomic tradition. Stale bread re-fried in local extra virgin olive oil, a symbol of 'waste not' cuisine, was once again the protagonist of a festival that tells the story of the agricultural roots of the Riviera dei Fiori hinterland.
