Edition 2025 — Palm Sunday Fair of Canosa Sannita

The 2025 edition, the first of the fair to be revived in a modern format, took place on Sunday, April 13, 2025, Palm Sunday, in the historic center of Canosa Sannita. The initiative marked the return of a long-interrupted market tradition and recorded high participation, laying the foundations for the consolidation of the event in the following years.

The return of the fair in 2025

With the April 13, 2025 edition, coinciding with Palm Sunday, the Municipality of Canosa Sannita brought back to life the historic Easter market fair, an event that in the past represented a fixed custom in the town's calendar, in the province of Chieti.

Mayor Costanza Berardi emphasized how the community boasted a glorious past of fairs and markets and how the event aimed to celebrate local history and culture, stimulating the local economy and attracting visitors. Vendors and exhibitors enlivened the streets of the historic center, decreeing the success of a first edition that paved the way for the return of the fair in 2026.
