Edition 2025 — Palio of Villa Potenza

In 2025, the Palio of Villa Potenza was not held: the event had been suspended since 2013 and would only return in May 2026. The 2025 edition therefore falls within the long period of suspension of the festival, during which the memory of the rivalry between the four districts – Torrione, Macina, Picchio, and Corona – remained alive in the memories of the hamlet, until the work of the new Committee made its rebirth possible.

The Palio of Villa Potenza was not held in 2025. The historic festival of the hamlet of Macerata, in the Marche region, had been suspended since 2013 and only saw its rebirth in May 2026, thanks to the work of a new committee of young people supported by the Pro Loco, the Municipality of Macerata, and the Parish of the Most Holy Crucifix. During the years of pause, including 2025, the tradition of the challenge between the four districts – Torrione, Macina, Picchio, and Corona – remained in the collective memory of the inhabitants, fueling the anticipation for the event's return.
