Edition 2025 — Palio di San Nicola

In 2025, the Palio di San Nicola confirmed its role as the first major spring festival in Sirolo. The districts of Sirolo competed in the traditional water relay race, while the medieval village came alive with flag-wavers, drummers, ladies and knights in costume, falconers, a historical market, and food stalls. The event, with free admission, involved adults and children alike with ancient games and historical re-enactments.

Palio di San Nicola 2025

The 2025 edition of the Palio di San Nicola brought two days of celebration to Sirolo, in the heart of the Riviera del Conero, in honor of the patron saint. As tradition dictates, the town's districts competed in the evocative water relay race, while the Disfida della Canaja involved the children with games and skill tests. The historic center hosted costume parades, performances by flag-wavers and drummers, falconers, and the characteristic historical market in the castle alleys, with stands dedicated to Marche gastronomy. A popular and free festival that renewed the bond between the community of Sirolo and its medieval history.
