Edition 2025 — Palio of Roè

The 25th edition of the Palio delle Contrade of Roè Volciano took place from July 12 to 20, 2025. The four districts of the town competed in a week of games, races, and lighthearted moments, accompanied by a parade with costumed figures and a band, dancing nights, and a gastronomic stand, following the long tradition of this palio in Valle Sabbia.

The 2025 edition, the 25th, of the Palio delle Contrade of Roè Volciano was held from July 12 to 20, confirming the palio as one of the longest-running and most attended summer events in Valle Sabbia.

The districts Leonessa, Aquila, Rovere, and Ulivo faced each other in the classic challenges of the event—from the barrel race to the joust, from tournaments to skill games—amidst parades, dancing nights, and a gastronomic stand, culminating in the final award ceremony for the winning district.
