Palio dela Brenta 2025
The 2025 edition of the Palio dela Brenta brought Borgo Valsugana to life from July 29 to August 3, with six days of playful challenges and historical re-enactments. The highlight was the return, after a five-year absence, of the raft race on the Brenta river, with the rafts of the two districts competing for victory on the illuminated river.
The Farinoti and Semoloti districts competed in stilt racing, tower throwing, the 'serci' competition, and the 'muse' race. On Sunday, at 6:30 PM, the grand historical procession paraded with over three hundred participants in period costumes; at 10:30 PM, the Palio was awarded to the winning district. Between medieval readings for children, flag-wavers, costumed shows, and the re-enactment of the 'rustic war', the festival confirmed its strong bond with the Valsugana community.
