Palio dei Rioni 2025 - 13th Edition

The thirteenth edition of the Palio dei Rioni of Porto Cesareo took place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, confirming the great popularity of the gozzo regatta. The day began at 5:30 PM with a band enlivening the town center, before the action kicked off at 6:30 PM with the race, starting from the Riviera di Levante and followed by a large crowd along the quay.

In the men's general classification, success went to the Punta Prosciutto crew, with Giuseppe D'Alba and Antonio La Gioia; in the women's, La Strea celebrated with Laura Ferrari and Naike Anna Silipo. The evening concluded in Piazza Nazario Sauro with the award ceremonies and musical entertainment, amidst the colors of the district flags and the festive atmosphere typical of the local summer.
