Edition 2025 — Palio dei Normanni

The 70th edition of the Palio dei Normanni took place in Piazza Armerina from August 12th to 14th, 2025, involving four districts, approximately 100 horses, 200 musicians, and over a thousand participants. The spectacular Saracen Joust on August 14th, at the Sant'Ippolito stadium, crowned the Monte Mira district, which raised the Banner of Mary Most Holy of Victories to the sky.

The 2025 Palio dei Normanni celebrated its 70th edition in Piazza Armerina, in the province of Enna, from August 12th to 14th. For three days, the historic center relived the Norman epic with processions, ceremonies, and performances that drew thousands of visitors.

The event opened on August 12th with the Delivery of the Arms, continued on the 13th with the Delivery of the Keys to Count Roger in Piazza Duomo, and concluded on the 14th with the Saracen Joust at the Sant'Ippolito field. At the end of the equestrian competition, the Monte Mira district triumphed over the other neighborhoods, winning the prestigious Palio banner.
