Edition 2025 — Palio dei Conti Oliva

On the last weekend of July 2025, the Palio dei Conti Oliva once again enlivened the historic center of Piandimeleto. Costume parades, encampments, medieval taverns, and shows provided the backdrop for the traditional archery contest between the four districts of the village, which concluded with the Castle in flames fireworks display celebrating the winning district.

The 2025 edition of the Palio dei Conti Oliva took place on the last weekend of July in the village of Piandimeleto, in Montefeltro, Pesaro area. As tradition dictates, the streets of the historic center and the Castello dei Conti Oliva served as the setting for historical parades, performances by flag wavers, musicians, and fire-eaters, period taverns, and an artisan market.

The heart of the event was the archery contest between the Evangelista, Castello, San Biagio, and La Torre districts, which determined the winning district, celebrated with the evocative Castle in flames. The 2025 edition confirmed the Palio as a leading historical reenactment in the Marche region.
