Edition 2025 — Palio dei Carri di Giustenice

In 2025 too, the Palio dei Carri di Giustenice brought the Savona village back to the Middle Ages, with the medieval dinner, the historical costume parade, and the challenge between the contrade. Despite the bad weather, the race of the two-wheeled carts in Piazza San Michele attracted a large crowd, confirming the vitality of a tradition that the Centro Storico Culturale Jus Tenens has been carrying on since 1972.

The 2025 edition of the Palio dei Carri di Giustenice confirmed the strong roots of this historical re-enactment in the Savona hinterland. The town's contrade competed in the race of the two-wheeled carts in Piazza San Michele, as part of three days of festivities.

Between medieval dinner, historical costume parade, and gastronomy, the event reaffirmed the bond of the community of Giustenice with its historical memory and with the 1448 episode that originated it.
