Edition 2025 — Palio dei Borgia
The 29th edition
The 2025 calendar opened on May 24 with the presentation of a study on the Borgias and the propitiatory dinner, followed on May 30 by the opening mass and the blessing of the banner. On May 31, the historical procession crossed the center of Nepi illuminated by torches.
In the following weeks, conferences, concerts, theatrical performances at the Forte dei Borgia, the «Borgian Thursdays» at the L'Acquedotto Cultural Center, and fire shows in the Piazza del Comune took place. The archers' tournament was held on the first weekend of June, while the Knights' Joust took place on Saturday, June 14, at the Municipal Park, with qualifying rounds in the morning and the final in the late afternoon.
On Sunday, June 15, the closing ceremony, with the historical procession and the delivery of the palio, consecrated the La Rocca district as the winner of the edition.
