Edition 2025 — Fossano Palio
2025 Edition
The Palio dei Borghi - Giostra de l'Oca 2025 brought Fossano to life from June 11 to 14, renewing the Renaissance re-enactment that celebrates the city's Savoyard history. The traditional folk games were held on Friday, June 13, while the highly anticipated Giostra de l'Oca, featuring the challenge of the seven districts in archery and horse racing, took place on Saturday, June 14, in the Piazza Castello arena.
In 2025, the event once again featured the historical pageant in 16th-century costume, the performance of the Sbandieratori e Musici dei Principi d'Acaja, and the evocative Renaissance dinner in the courtyard of the Castello degli Acaja, confirming the Palio as one of the most deeply felt identity-defining events in Piedmont.
