Edition 2025 — Palio dea Caretera
The 2025 edition of the Palio dea Caretera de Marostega took place, as is tradition, on the second Sunday of June. The wooden carts, handcrafted by the teams from the hamlets, competed in the descent connecting the Upper Castle to the Lower Castle, through the Roveredo valley, for about 2,000 meters and a 124-meter drop. The event, organized by the Associazione Caretera de Marostega in the Municipality of Marostica (province of Vicenza), renewed the goliardic spirit and healthy competition among the villages that originated in the post-war era.
