Palio della Quercia 2025: Nadia Battocletti's evening
The 61st edition of the Palio Città della Quercia took place on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Stadio Quercia in Rovereto, moved forward from its usual September slot. The evening was highlighted by Nadia Battocletti, who came close to the Italian record in the 1500 meters with a time of 3:58.15, missing the record by just four hundredths of a second.
Other Italian stars included: Andy Diaz in the triple jump (17.04 m), Zane Weir in the shot put (21.84 m), Anna Polinari in the 400 meters (51.34s), and Eloisa Coiro in the 800 meters (1:59.51). An edition that confirmed Rovereto's role as a premier showcase for international track and field in the Trentino-Alto Adige region.
