Edition 2025 — PalermoRema

The 19th edition of PalermoRema took place on October 18-19, 2025, at the Scalo di Sferracavallo, recording a record participation of about 350 rowers, nearly double the previous year. Saturday the 18th featured the 5 km competitive coastal rowing endurance race for the Carlo Ruvolo Trophy; Sunday the 19th featured the 10 km non-competitive Vogalonga towards Isola delle Femmine, in the Capo Gallo protected marine area.

PalermoRema 2025: The record-breaking edition

The 19th edition of PalermoRema, held on October 18-19, 2025, at the Circolo Velico Sferracavallo (Casa Quarara), marked a massive surge in participation with about 350 rowers at the start. Saturday, October 18, starting at 11:00 AM, featured the competitive Coastal Rowing Endurance race over 5 km, reserved for FIC members, with the award ceremony for the "Carlo Ruvolo" Challenger Trophy. Sunday, October 19, with a start at 9:30 AM, saw the non-competitive Vogalonga of 10 km from Sferracavallo to Isola delle Femmine, in the Capo Gallo protected marine area. The edition inaugurated the Sferracavallo Sailing & Sea Festival, under the patronage of FIC and FICK.

Programme

Saturday, October 18, 2025: 10:00 AM captains' meeting, 11:00 AM Coastal Rowing Endurance final series (5 km), 5:00 PM Carlo Ruvolo Trophy award ceremony. Sunday, October 19, 2025: registration and accreditation 7:30-9:00 AM, 9:30 AM start of the Vogalonga (10 km towards Isola delle Femmine), 12:00 PM award ceremony.

Prices

Vogalonga registration fee: 10 euros; additional insurance card for non-members: 5 euros.
