Paesaggi Sonori — World Music in Valle dei Laghi

The first edition of Paesaggi Sonori

In 2025, the Valle dei Laghi, in the Municipality of Vallelaghi (Province of Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige), saw the birth of the Paesaggi Sonori — World Music festival. This first experimental edition, held from March 6 to May 10, took place at the Teatro Valle dei Laghi in Vezzano with four concerts that explored the musical traditions of different continents.

Curated by the ArteLaghi association with the artistic direction of Lorenzo Bernardi and Mauro Odorizzi, the festival brought world music performers with Brazilian, Italian, and North American sounds to the valley, receiving a warm welcome from the public. The success of this debut convinced the organizers to structure the event into two seasons — winter at the theatre and summer outdoors in the villages — starting from the following year.
