Paesaggi Sonori — Gessopalena stop

The 2025 edition of Paesaggi Sonori, the tenth, celebrated ten years of the festival with the theme "I/O", understood as a meeting point between identity and the world, listening and transformation. The Gessopalena stop was held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in the ancient village carved into gypsum, the natural theater of Pietralucente at the foot of the Maiella, featuring the Korean female duo Dal:um, who perform music that weaves together traditional string instruments and experimental research.

As every year, the audience reached the concert venue on foot, for a sunset listening experience among the ruins of the old settlement. As the only date in the province of Chieti, the Gessopalena stop was part of a program spread between the Province of L'Aquila and that of Chieti, with artists from Scotland, Korea, Norway, and Africa.
