About Padova Half Marathon
From Abano Terme to Prato della Valle
The Padova Half Marathon is the international half marathon of the Padua area: 21.097 km measured and certified by AIMS/World Athletics, starting from Abano Terme (province of Padua) and finishing in Prato della Valle, one of the largest squares in Europe.
The Route
The race starts from the Monteortone Stadium, a district of Abano Terme, immediately heading towards the center of Montegrotto Terme before running towards Padua. A flat and fast course, which crosses the Euganean thermal district and concludes in one of the city's symbolic locations.

- Free shuttle service to the starting area in Abano Terme
- Expo Village with bib and race pack collection at the Padua Fairgrounds
The event is organized by Assindustria Sport. The race, open to registered runners and RunCard holders, attracts thousands of runners from all over Italy and abroad every year.
Padova Half Marathon — edition 2026
The 17th edition of the Padova Half Marathon took place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, simultaneously with the marathon. The start was at 9:45 AM from the Monteortone Stadium in Abano Terme, passing through Montegrotto Terme and finishing in Prato della Valle in Padua. Ahmed Ouhda (Esercito) won among the men in 1h03'40", ahead of Daniele Meucci; the Kenyan Valentine Jepkoech Rutto won among the women in 1h12'22".

Race day program (April 26, 2026):
- By 8:30 AM — arrival of athletes at the starting area in Abano Terme (free shuttle service)
- 9:45 AM — start of the half marathon from the Monteortone Stadium, simultaneously with the Padova Marathon
- Route: Abano Terme → Montegrotto Terme → Padua
- Finish in Prato della Valle, Padua's grand square

How to get there
The start is in Abano Terme, reachable by car from the A13 (Terme Euganee exit) or the A4 (Padova Ovest exit). Free shuttle service to the starting point. The finish is in Prato della Valle in Padua, near the train station.

Online registration on the official website; RunCard or federation membership required. Bib collection at the Expo Village at the Padua Fairgrounds (not on race day).
