Edition 2025 — Paccozza Festival
2025 Edition: the seventeenth
In 2025, the Paccozza Festival reached its 17th edition, held in Pesco Sannita (Province of Benevento, Campania) on the weekend of August 9-10. As per tradition, the festival was concentrated in Piazza Umberto I, where the Pro Loco sets up a covered structure with tables and benches every year.
The signature dish, the hand-rolled and hand-cut paccozza, was served with classic Sannio peasant-style sauces, as part of a complete menu accompanied by local wine. The evenings were enlivened by live music, with space for children thanks to inflatable attractions, while the takeaway service allowed visitors to purchase paccozze to go.
The edition confirmed the formula that earned the event the Sagra di Qualità mark from UNPLI: a self-financed village festival, managed by Pro Loco Pesco Sannita volunteers, built entirely around a product that defines the Sannio region.
