Our Lady of the Snows Festival

2025 Edition

The 2025 Our Lady of the Snows Festival in Santa Lucia del Mela took place from August 1st to 5th, alternating between religious events and major entertainment evenings. The opening on August 1st featured the "I 4 gusti" cabaret and the Luciano Fraita Show; on August 2nd, the twelfth edition of the Mankarru Folk Festival took place, featuring the groups "Coppola Nera" and "i Beddi", during which Luciano Maio, founder of Taberna Mylaensis, was awarded for his 50-year career.

On August 3rd, PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi) led by Franz Di Cioccio took the stage, while on August 4th, the streets leading to the castle were illuminated for the second edition of Aura Fest, a journey of art, installations, music, and video mapping themed "Learning to fly, learning to descend into the depths." On August 5th, the day of the feast, the solemn Pontifical Mass was celebrated, followed by the procession of the statue, a concert by the "Randisi" band, and fireworks over the castle, in a "Night of Enchantment" that closed the festivities.
