Edition 2025 — Our Lady of the Rosary

In August 2025, Morro Reatino renewed its devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary as part of the cycle of summer events that the small town in the province of Rieti celebrates alongside the feast of its patron saint, Saint Lawrence. A solemn Mass and procession in the historic center brought together residents, vacationers, and emigrants returning for the summer, with organization handled by local volunteers and the parish.

The 2025 edition

In the summer of 2025, the Our Lady of the Rosary Festival took place in August in Morro Reatino, according to the custom that links Marian celebrations to the feast of the patron saint Saint Lawrence the Martyr. The focus remained the same as always: the Eucharistic celebration and the procession of the image of the Virgin through the alleys of the village, between the castle gate and the remains of the medieval walls.

As every year, the festival represented a moment of gathering for the Morro community, supported by local associations that also animate the Sagra della Pizzola in August. The detailed program for the 2025 edition was not released online.
