Our Lady of the Rosary Feast – Rione Dazio

The 2025 edition of the Our Lady of the Rosary Feast in the Rione Dazio of Messina took place on Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5. On Saturday evening, Via Manzoni hosted the White Night, featuring comedian Carlo Kaneba with Antonella Cirone, the voices of Mariacarla Giardina, Giusi Muffari, and young talent Manuel D'Angelo, winner of a Sanremo scholarship, all hosted by Teresa Impollonia. Along the street, the Sweet and Savory Festival offered pizzas by master Enzo Piedimonte and artisanal gelato by Giuseppe Arena, alongside stalls from hobbyists and artisans.

On Sunday, October 5, the religious day began with the solemn Eucharistic Celebration at 10:30 AM, animated by the Schola Cantorum Maria del Rosario and attended by civil and religious authorities, followed at noon by the recitation of the Supplica. In the afternoon, at 4:30 PM, the procession of the statue of Our Lady traveled through the district's streets, accompanied by the Banda di Salice and local scout groups. Upon returning, traditional fireworks from the convent terrace concluded the festivities.
