Edition 2025 — Madonna del Carmelo Venetico

On July 16th, 2025, Venetico Marina celebrated its patron saint, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, according to the established tradition. The day of celebration, preceded by the novena in the church of Maria Santissima del Carmelo, saw a succession of holy masses and the evocative evening procession of the statue through the streets of the coastal district of the Municipality of Venetico, in the Messina area, with great participation from the faithful and residents.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival took place in Venetico Marina on July 16th, following the long devotional tradition of the Peloritani coastal village. After the days of the novena celebrated in the church of Maria Santissima del Carmelo, the community gathered for holy masses and the solemn procession of the patron saint's float along the streets of Venetico Marina and the seafront.

The event, organized by the Santa Maria del Carmelo Parish (Diocese of Messina), confirmed the strong bond between the district and its protector, in an atmosphere of faith and summer popular celebration that involved residents, returning emigrants, and visitors.
