Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival

The 2025 edition of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival took place on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM, in Contrada Calasci, Piraino. Organized by the Maria SS. di Lourdes Parish, the day centered on the procession of the statue of the Madonna through the streets of the district.

The religious event was followed by the secular festivities, featuring musical entertainment by DJ Fradan and the traditional fireworks display to close the evening. The event was part of the 2025 Piraino summer program, which included a variety of cultural, musical, and traditional events across the different districts of the municipality in the province of Messina.
