Edition 2025 — Our Lady of Mount Carmel
The 2025 edition of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival took place in Ispica (RG) around July 16th. The novena began on Friday, July 12th, with a charity raffle organized by the Catholic Women's Association "Madonna del Carmine" and the opening of the photography exhibition "Il Carmine: tra storia e devozione" at the M. Crocifissa Curcio Auditorium (July 12-20).
On Tuesday, July 16th, the day of the solemnity, the Sanctuary opened at 6:30 AM with cannon fire and church bells at 7:00 AM, followed by the sung mass at 10:30 AM and the five traditional masses. At midnight, the city procession reached the Sanctuary for the floral tribute.
On Friday, July 19th, a parade of musicians and flag-wavers opened the second edition of the traditional food fair "Borgo del Carmine in festa" at 9:00 PM. The external festival on Sunday, July 21st, featured the triumphant procession of the statue around 8:00 PM and a fireworks display at Parco Forza at 11:30 PM.
