Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival (Marina di Minturno)

Carmel 2025 on the Minturno coast

In 2025, the festivities in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel occupied the entire central week of July in Marina di Minturno, from the 11th to the 17th of the month. The Parish of San Biagio Vescovo e Martire offered a program of community prayer — evening celebrations, recitation of the Rosary, Eucharistic adoration — capable of involving both residents and families vacationing on the Pontine coast.

The central day was Wednesday, July 16th, the liturgical feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel: after the solemn mass, the statue of the Virgin left the church for the procession to the sea, the most iconic ritual of the Marina, followed by a long procession of the faithful along the streets of the district and the promenade. The festivities concluded on Thursday, July 17th, with the final parish celebrations.
