Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival in Santa Marinella

The 2025 edition of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival took place as tradition dictates in the first half of July, in the Carmine district of Santa Marinella. The parish community, led by the Carmelite Friars, experienced the preparatory novena with the Rosary, Carmelite Litanies, and evening Masses, leading up to the solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel on July 16th.

The heart of the festivities was, as every year, the evening procession with the statue of Our Lady, which departed from the Carmelo Church along the usual route through Via Flaminia Odescalchi, Lungomare Guglielmo Marconi, and Via del Carmelo, with the participation of the faithful, volunteer associations, and authorities from the Municipality of Santa Marinella. An event that confirms the vitality of one of the most deep-rooted Marian devotions on the Lazio coast.
