Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival

The 2025 edition of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival in Cerami (Enna) took place on the second Sunday of August, renewing the rites that have characterized the festival for generations. The novena prepared the community for the most solemn moments: the procession of the Reicola, with the relic of Saint Simon Stock carried under a canopy and accompanied by the confraternities, and the solemn procession of the statue group of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

As is customary, the statue traveled through the main streets of the historic center to the sound of the band, the ringing of bells, and the rolling of drums, with a tribute to the patron saint, Saint Sebastian, and a return amidst fireworks. The festival was enriched by an infiorata, musical evenings, and entertainment organized by the Confraternity of the Carmine.
