Ottobre Sacro - Patronal Feasts of Biancavilla

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 patronal feasts of Biancavilla, presented by the municipal administration as "Biancavilla's New Year", kicked off on September 28th with the historical re-enactment of the Arbëreshë culture from Villa delle Favare to Piazza Roma.

• October 1st — presentation of the book "San Zenone" by Filadelfio Grasso in the Council Chamber.
• October 2nd — parade of the "Ten. Santo Scuderi" Bersaglieri Fanfare from Via Vittorio Emanuele to Piazza Roma; procession of Saint Zeno.
• October 4th — concert by Gianmarco Carroccia with the show "Emozioni" in Piazza Roma; solemnity of Our Lady of Alms.
• October 5th — concert by Ricchi e Poveri in Piazza Roma; feast of Saint Placid.
• October 6th — fireworks display at midnight (Piazza Sgriccio) to close the festivities.

Alongside the musical events, the traditional processions of the martyrs' relics took place from the Basilica of Santa Maria dell'Elemosina, in the town of Biancavilla (Province of Catania).
