Ottobrata Zafferanese 2025: the 45th edition
The 45th edition of the Ottobrata Zafferanese was held in Zafferana Etnea (CT) over the four Sundays of October 2025: October 5, 12, 19, and 26, with continuous hours from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The event confirmed its thematic structure with the Grape Festival (October 5, opening Sunday), the Honey Festival (October 12), the Etna Apple Festival (October 19), and the Mushroom and Chestnut Festival (October 26).
The edition brought together over 300 exhibitors from all over Italy, covering gastronomy, crafts, and typical products. Highlights included show cooking in Piazza Cardinale Pappalardo, creations by chef Seby Sorbello using Etna ingredients, nature excursions, and family activities. The entertainment lineup of the 'Sundays of Smiles' brought well-known faces of Sicilian comedy to the stage, such as Claudio Casisa, Gino Astorina, and Uccio De Santis. The event was promoted by the Municipality of Zafferana Etnea with free admission.
