The July 11, 2025 Preview

The 2025 edition of Otiosa Estate opened on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 6:30 PM at the OTIUM Social Library headquarters, located at Via XI Maggio 106 in Marsala. The preview featured Renato Polizzi, who, in dialogue with Vita D'Amico, presented the new edition of «Noterelle d'uno dei Mille. Da Quarto al Volturno» by Giuseppe Cesare Abba, republished by Quodlibet in the «Compagnia Extra» series: a Risorgimento classic that provides a first-hand account of the 1860 Garibaldi expedition in Sicily.

As per tradition, the festival continued in the following weeks with literary meetings, video performances, and concerts between the OTIUM headquarters and the cloister of the former Convento del Carmine, confirming its role as a key cultural event of the Marsala summer, with free admission.
