Edition 2025 — Ostia Clean-Up

In March 2025, Ostia Clean-Up renewed its anniversary appointment with a new beach cleanup on the Roman coast. As every year, volunteers of all ages gathered on the beach of Ostia to collect plastic, cigarette butts, and micro-waste, reaffirming the association's commitment to protecting the sea and raising environmental awareness.

The 2025 anniversary

Also in March 2025, the Ostia Clean-Up ODV association celebrated its founding with a participatory cleanup day on the beach of Ostia, in the Municipality of Rome. The event confirmed the formula that combines care for the territory and involvement of the coastal community.

Equipped with gloves and bags, the volunteers cleaned the beach of waste deposited by winter storms, sorting the collected material. The day was also an opportunity to present the association's educational projects and activities, from workshops in schools to awareness campaigns aimed at citizens of the Lazio region.
