Edition 2025 — Ostia Christmas Village
The first Ostia Christmas Village
The inaugural edition of the Ostia Christmas Village took place from December 8, 2024, to January 6, 2025, at Parco XXV Novembre 1884, on Via Pietro Rosa. Roma Capitale, together with Municipio X, invested approximately 600,000 euros in the design, setup, and management of an 8,000-square-meter free-entry area.
The village featured an ice skating rink, Santa's House, and the Befana's cottage, an enchanted forest of lights, creative workshops, theatrical performances, and storytelling in heated cabins, as well as a market and a food and beverage area. A debut that brought the holiday atmosphere to a Lazio neighborhood often on the margins of major city events.
