Edition 2025 — Osservatorio Aperto

In the summer of 2025, the Schio Astrophile Group also opened the Don Francesco Faccin Observatory in Busa Novegno to the public with sky observation evenings. On Mount Novegno, far from light pollution, visitors were able to observe stars and planets through telescopes, guided by members, during free evenings that brought astronomy closer to families and enthusiasts from the Alto Vicentino region.

During the summer of 2025, the Osservatorio Aperto evenings in Busa Novegno confirmed the educational commitment of the Schio Astrophile Group APS. On Mount Novegno, above Schio, the public observed the night sky through the telescopes of the Don Francesco Faccin observatory, during evenings with free access that lasted until late at night. An appreciated opportunity for families and the curious to discover astronomy in a mountain setting.
