Evenings of local history at the Ruralia Museum, between rural memories and the 20th century
"Osio Sotto. The Novel of History" is the cultural review that the Ruralia Museum of Osio Sotto, in the province of Bergamo, dedicates to the history and memory of the territory. A series of evening events designed to stimulate a deep dialogue between the past and the present, set in the museum spaces on via Torquato Tasso.
The common thread is the desire to connect the different eras of the 20th century through local and territorial memory. The evenings tell the story of the great transition from peasant civilization to the world of industry that transformed the Bergamo plain, weaving together rural memories, agricultural traditions, and community stories.
Now in its second edition, the review is an expression of the full operational maturity of the Ruralia Museum, an institution that has established itself as a cultural hub for the town in just a few years. The meetings offer presentations, stories, and dialogues involving scholars, witnesses, and citizens, in a journey that enhances the identity of Osio Sotto.
For those who want to learn more about the history of the Bergamo plain, "The Novel of History" offers a precious opportunity: a journey through time among the memories of work in the fields and the transformations of the 20th century, told in an accessible and engaging way. An event that roots the community of Osio Sotto in its own history, in the heart of the province of Bergamo.
