Edition 2025 — Orvieto Sound Festival

The Orvieto Sound Festival was born as a series of live concerts in Piazza del Popolo. After its initial editions, the event took a break before returning in 2026 with a new artistic direction and a renewed lineup that brings major names from Italian music back to the city on the cliff. The festival was established as a key summer event for the city and for the cultural tourism of the Orvieto area.

The Orvieto Sound Festival established itself in its early editions as a summer musical event in the historic center of Orvieto, in the Province of Terni, with live concerts in the evocative Piazza del Popolo. The festival brought artists from the Italian scene to the stage, contributing to the liveliness of the Umbrian city's summer nights.

After a hiatus, the festival has been rescheduled for 2026 with the artistic direction of Pino Strabioli and a renewed lineup, signaling the Municipality of Orvieto's intention to revive major live music events in the piazza.
