Edition 2025 — Orvieto Sound Festival

The Orvieto Sound Festival was born as a series of live concerts in Piazza del Popolo. After its initial editions, the event took a break before returning in 2026 with a new artistic direction and a renewed program that brings major names of Italian music back to the city on the cliff. The festival aims to combine artistic quality, diversity of offerings, and economic sustainability.

The Orvieto Sound Festival established itself in its early editions as a summer music event in the historic center of Orvieto, in the Province of Terni, with live concerts in the picturesque Piazza del Popolo. The festival brought artists from the Italian scene to the stage, contributing to the animation of the Umbrian city's summer nights.

After a hiatus, the festival has been rescheduled for 2026 with the artistic direction of Pino Strabioli and a renewed program, signaling the Municipality of Orvieto's intention to revive major live music events in the piazza.
