The 20th edition: twenty years of White Night

On August 23, 2025, Ortona celebrated the twentieth anniversary of its White Night with fifteen events spread across the main squares of the center, from 8:00 PM until dawn. The evening opened with the antique market and food stalls along Via della Libertà and Via Cavour.

Musical highlights included: in Piazza degli Eroi Canadesi, the 'Black Ball Boogie' concert featuring swing and rock 'n' roll, followed by a DJ set; in Piazza Porta Caldari, the 'Fuego' format with hip hop and reggaeton; and in Piazza della Repubblica, the 'Music Led Show' with DJ Giorgio Santovito. In Largo Farnese, on the Passeggiata Orientale, the 'Antica Barberia del Corso' ensemble performed Neapolitan and traditional music, while at 5:30 AM, Maestro Roberto De Grandis performed a evocative sunrise concert as a tribute to film soundtracks.

There were also events for families, such as 'Pompieropoli' in Piazza San Tommaso and children's entertainment with cosplay in Piazza del Teatro, as well as 'La notte di Terravecchia' featuring sports, art, cooking, and poetry. The edition was organized by the municipal administration with the Councilor for Events, Antonio Sorgetti.

• 5:30 AM on August 24 — Sunrise concert by Maestro Roberto De Grandis, tribute to film soundtracks (Largo Farnese)
