Ortidea 2025: the most beautiful orchids on the planet in Rome

The fifth edition of Ortidea was held on May 24 and 25, 2025, at the Botanical Garden of Rome, from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The event took on a strong international character, with the participation of exhibitors and associations from Japan, Ecuador, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and Germany, in addition to the host country, Italy.

The Exhibition Greenhouse hosted seven floral installations curated by important industry players, including the Botanical Garden of Rome, the Italian Orchidology Association (A.I.O.), the Botanical Garden of Naples, the Lazio Orchid Association (A.L.O.), the Portuguese Orchidology Association, the Deutsche Orchideen Gesellschaft, and Orchideen Grom. There was also a small sustainable market with floral crafts, botanical jewelry, jams, natural fiber clothing, and a gastronomic area, as well as workshops, seminars, and activities for children.
