Orecchietta Festival of Vignacastrisi

The 2025 Orecchietta Festival of Vignacastrisi was held on August 8 and 9 along Via Martiri d'Otranto, in the Salento village of Vignacastrisi (Ortelle, Lecce). As per tradition, the chefs and volunteers of the Parabola a Sud Association offered orecchiette with turnip tops in the Lecce style, grilled meat, watermelon, and local wine, with the village courtyards open for tastings from local wineries.

The musical program featured Officina Zoè on August 8, with the fascinating rhythms of Salento tradition, and Kalinka on August 9, who brought Balkan and swing atmospheres to the square. The event, with free admission and the patronage of the Puglia Region, the Province of Lecce, and the Municipality of Ortelle, confirmed the festival's vocation to unite taste, music, and the identity of Salento.
