About Archeo Bike Fest

The Opitergium Archeo Bike Fest is a series of cycling excursions that every spring leads to the discovery of the territory of Oderzo, the ancient Roman Opitergium. A series of rides suitable for all levels, enriched by thematic stops on archaeological heritage, history, and landscape, between the countryside and hamlets of the Oderzo area. A slow way to combine sport, discovery of the territory, and culture, organized by AL2 Sport with Scopri Oderzo.

Cycling through history and nature

The Opitergium Archeo Bike Fest is the cycling tourism event in Oderzo, in the province of Treviso, dedicated to discovering the territory on two wheels. The name recalls Opitergium, the ancient Roman city that gave rise to Oderzo: the idea is precisely to combine cycling with the narrative of the local archaeological and historical heritage.

Rides for all levels

The event offers a series of cycling excursions spread between late April and May, on routes suitable for all levels. Each stage crosses the countryside and hamlets of the Oderzo area and includes thematic stops and points of cultural interest, transforming the ride into an opportunity to get to know the territory. In some editions, the program is also enriched with moments of entertainment, such as the itinerant performance "I Menecmi" by Plautus.

Sport and territory

The event is organized by AL2 Sport in collaboration with Scopri Oderzo (the city's tourist information office) and is aimed at families, enthusiasts, and cycle tourists. It is designed to enhance the network of secondary roads and villages in the Oderzo district, combining physical activity and the discovery of the Venetian landscape.
