Edition 2025 — Open for Restoration Manta

In 2025, Castello della Manta, a FAI property in the town of Manta in the province of Cuneo, continued its activities for the conservation and promotion of its historical and artistic heritage. The Open for Restoration format, which opens sites to the public and fosters dialogue with restorers, strengthened the bond between visitors and heritage protection, paving the way for the rich 2026 calendar.

Throughout 2025, Castello della Manta kept the conservation of its extraordinary heritage at the center of its activities, from the Baronial Hall with its late-Gothic frescoes of Heroes and Heroines to the historic rooms of the Saluzzo della Manta residence. The initiatives to open the restoration sites and share the conservation work, in the spirit that characterizes FAI in Piedmont, laid the groundwork for the structured Open for Restoration series of 2026, included in the Interreg ALCOTRA SavoiaExperience project.
