Edition 2025 — On the Trail of the Meli Lupi
The First Edition
During the weekend of April 25-27, 2025, the park of Rocca Meli Lupi in Soragna (PR) hosted the first edition of On the Trail of the Meli Lupi, a multi-era historical re-enactment patronized by the Castles of the Duchies of Parma, Piacenza, and Pontremoli.
The route, both diachronic and synchronic, staged key figures of the lineage: Lupo di Cividale, a Lombard ancestor around 712 AD, and Goffredo Lupi, a Templar and Marquis of Soragna in the 13th century. Admission and ticketing were located at the Porta delle Mura on Viale Giuseppe Verdi, from where the visit began into the large park of the residence, featuring encampments, costumed figures, and demonstrations of historical life.
