Omnia 2025: "Ex voto. Devotion"

The second edition of Omnia - Festival of Time was held in Gangi from June 13 to 15, 2025, on the theme "Ex voto. Devotion," a journey through time exploring devotion in all its variations, from the sacred to the profane. The festival combined reflection, art, and performance in the squares and historic palaces of the Madonie village.

Among the most popular events were the inauguration of the photography exhibition "Three Men. Three Popes" by Tony Gentile in the Church of the Badia, the theatrical performance "We Are the Soil, We Are the Earth" by and with Roberto Mercadini, the concert by Chris Obehi & Malang Kebba Big Band, and the closing lecture by mathematician Piergiorgio Odifreddi in Piazza del Popolo. There was also space for cinema with a tribute to Franco Maresco and for tradition with the re-enactment of the historic tambourine parade through the streets of the historic center.

Friday, June 13

• 11:00 — Opening of the "Keepers of the Invisible" trail curated by the Confraternities of Gangi (Palazzo Bongiorno)
• 17:30 — Inauguration of the photography exhibition "Three Men. Three Popes" with the author Tony Gentile (Church of the Badia)
• 19:00 — Talk "Between Sacred and Profane. Hands in the Fire" (Piazza San Giuseppe dei Poveri)
• 21:00 — "The Love that Moves the Sun and the Other Stars," a poetic-theatrical journey by and with David Coco (Piazza del Popolo)

Saturday, June 14

• 17:00 — "The Sound of Devotion," re-enactment of the historic tambourine parade in the historic center
• 19:30 — Talk "Devotions in Progress: Fragile Idols" with Roberto Mercadini (Piazza San Giuseppe dei Poveri)
• 21:00 — Performance "We Are the Soil, We Are the Earth" by and with Roberto Mercadini (Piazza del Popolo)
• 23:30 — Concert by Chris Obehi & Malang Kebba Big Band (Piazza del Popolo)

Sunday, June 15

• 18:00 — Review "Miracles and Films": tribute to the cinema of Franco Maresco, with Franco Maresco and Umberto Cantone (Multifunctional Hall)
• 21:00 — Lecture by Professor Piergiorgio Odifreddi (Piazza del Popolo)
