Edition 2025 — Olive Oil Festival

On the weekend of October 25-26, 2025, Cantalupo in Sabina hosted the Olive Oil Festival, the event dedicated to the new extra virgin oil of Sabina organized by the Pro Loco at Parco Camuccini. Two days of new oil tastings, the blessing of the oil, and traditional dishes, featuring the famous handmade maccheroni a cento, in a festive and convivial atmosphere in the heart of the Sabine village.

2025 Olive Oil Festival in Cantalupo in Sabina

The 2025 edition of the Olive Oil Festival took place on October 25 and 26, 2025, at Parco Camuccini in Cantalupo in Sabina, in the province of Rieti. Organized by the Pro Loco, the event renewed the autumn appointment with the new extra virgin oil of Sabina, offering tastings of freshly pressed oil, the traditional blessing of the oil, and typical local dishes.

The heart of the festival, as always, was the maccheroni a cento, the handmade pasta that is a symbol of Cantalupo, served at the park's tables along with bruschetta and local products. Two days of genuine flavors and community spirit confirmed the festival as one of the most cherished autumn gastronomic events in the lower Sabine region of Rieti.
