Octave of Corpus Domini

The 2025 Octave of Corpus Domini was held in Ruvo di Puglia from June 21 to 30, under the theme "The Rediscovery of Traditions": an invitation to listen again to the heartbeat of memory amidst religious rites and atmospheres that have always belonged to the city's history. The festival opened on Saturday, June 21, in Piazza Matteotti at 8:30 PM with the traditional lighting of the artistic illuminations by the award-winning "Faniuolo" company from Putignano, followed by the 4th edition of "Tavole a Festa." On Sunday, June 22, the day of Corpus Domini, the Bassa Banda Rubastina of the "B. Giandonato" Musical Association opened the morning with a traveling performance in the historic center; in the afternoon at 7:00 PM, the Co-Cathedral hosted the solemn Eucharistic concelebration, animated by the choir directed by Maestro Vincenzo Anselmi, concluding in the evening with a brass band concert in Piazza Matteotti. The edition was organized by the Patronal Feast Committee, chaired that year by Antonio De Venuto.
