Edition 2025 — Ocio Festival
In 2025, the Rione Cassero once again brought its Ocio Festival to Castiglion Fiorentino, a gastronomic event dedicated to the goose and the peasant cuisine of the Val di Chiana. An evening of long tables and conviviality with typical traditional Arezzo dishes, from stuffed goose neck to other seasonal specialties, in the true spirit of a village festival.
The 2025 edition of the Ocio Festival confirmed the community's bond with the tradition of the ocio, the goose of the Val di Chiana, in Castiglion Fiorentino (Arezzo). Organized by the Rione Cassero, the festival offered dishes from the Arezzo peasant cuisine in a convivial atmosphere, helping to pass on a gastronomic heritage linked to the time of threshing and major village celebrations.
