Nucillium – Medieval Historical Re-enactment Evening

Nucillium 2025 – the fourth edition

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, starting from 8:30 PM, Nociglia hosted the fourth edition of Nucillium, the medieval historical re-enactment evening set between the 13th and 14th centuries. The Baronial Palace was the hub of the event, while the streets of the center came alive with educational stalls, ancient crafts, and medieval games created in carpentry workshops.

The program included an opening historical pageant, archery displays, historical dances, juggling, and a theatrical performance interpreted by children and teenagers from summer workshops. Also on the program was a guided tour of the church of Madonna dell'Itri and, in closing, a tasting of medieval specialties organized by the Liberamente association. The initiative, organized by the Municipal Administration with the support of the Puglia Regional Council, saw the collaboration of students from the IISS "Don Tonino Bello" of Tricase.
