Edition 2025 — Novello e Castagne
The 2025 edition
The sixteenth edition of "Novello e Castagne – Autumn Flavours" was held in Miglianico, in the province of Chieti, from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 November 2025. Every evening, starting at 6 pm, the large brazier was lit in the historic centre, the convivial heart of the festival.
The Pro Loco di Miglianico stalls offered the specialities of the Abruzzo autumn: arrosticini, ribatte, polenta, pasta alla "Trappetara", pizz e foije, pallotte cace e ove, roasted chestnuts, and local new wine. On Sunday, the stalls were also open for lunch, while live music enlivened all the evenings.
