Edition 2025 — Note in Città

In 2025, Note in Città did not yet exist: the first edition of the budding musicians' festival only arrived in the summer of 2026. The 2025 Velletri summer was nonetheless animated by initiatives from the Pro Loco Velitrae and the Municipality of Velletri in the historic center, a cultural ferment that paved the way for the creation of a showcase entirely dedicated to young musicians and local music schools.

Before the debut of Note in Città on July 3, 2026, Velletri did not have a festival dedicated exclusively to the region's young musicians. In the summer of 2025, the historic center of Velletri was already animated by the event calendar promoted by the Municipality of Velletri and local associations, with the Pro Loco Velitrae APS working year-round on the cultural enhancement of the city, from the Velletri Carnival to the Camellia Festival.

It is precisely from this associative fabric, and the wealth of music schools and young performers in the Castelli Romani, that the idea of a stage dedicated to budding musicians matured: a project that materialized the following year in Piazza Cairoli with the first free-entry edition of the festival.
