Nordic Film Fest Rome

The fourteenth edition of the Nordic Film Fest was held in Rome from November 27 to 30, 2025. The opening night at Cinema Caravaggio featured The Last Viking by Danish director Anders Thomas Jensen, starring Mads Mikkelsen; screenings then continued at the Cinema Azzurro Scipioni in the Prati district.

The program brought together nine feature films, two documentaries, four shorts, and two video art pieces from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, including Becoming Astrid, Munch, and 100 Liters of Beer. Alongside the screenings, the public enjoyed a Swedish photo exhibition, a book presentation on Greta Garbo, and tastings of Nordic products. The festival, directed by Antonio Flamini, was promoted by the five Nordic embassies and the Scandinavian Circle, with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the Lazio Region.
